SPECIAL NEEDS
If a student, including adult learners, has special learning needs, please inform the instructor in writing before the scheduled camp day. This communication helps both your child and our staff prepare lessons that will ensure a successful learning experience.
ILLNESS
If a student or adult student registered for Creating My Art has a fever or any contagious illness, please do not send them to camp. Additionally, if a student or adult student misses a day of camp due to illness, the fees will not be refundable and cannot be banked or transferred to another time or class.
BEHAVIOR POLICY
At Creating My Art, we have class rules clearly posted in our studio. These rules ensure that our classes run smoothly, remain enjoyable, and maintain discipline, allowing all art students to have a safe and successful experience. Behaviors such as rudeness, talking back, refusal to follow directions, or unwillingness to participate in class projects are unacceptable. Students engaging in such behaviors may be asked to leave our studio and will not be permitted to return to art camp. Please note that class fees are non-refundable and cannot be banked or transferred to another time or class. Additionally, bullying, manipulation, teasing, or harassment of other students will not be tolerated. Any student involved in such behavior will be required to have their guardian pick them up from the center and will not be allowed to enroll in our camp in the future. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
SCHEDULE CHANGES
Once a student or adult student is booked at Creating My Art they are added to our role and we begin preparing for their arrival. Our space is limited in our studio. Often we’re at full capacity and we have to turn students away or add them to a waiting list. No changes can be made to your booked camp days once you have booked a specific date on our calendar.
CANCELATION POLICY
Once you reserve a seat at our ART table, we will start preparing for your arrival! Your reserved seat remains yours whether you choose to attend the class or not. Please note that cancellations must be made in writing at least 14 days prior to the booked class. If you do cancel your class more than 14 days in advance, the days will be banked as store credit in your account, which does not expire. However, if you cancel a class less than 14 days before it is scheduled, fees will not be banked, and no store credit will be issued.
NO SHOWS FOR CLASS
If you do not show up for Art class NO banked day / store credit will be given.
WAIVER OF LIABILITY & PHOTO RELEASE
By registering for an activity on our website, you agree to our waiver of liability and terms. This includes granting us permission to use your photos for marketing purposes. Please note that Creating My Art will not sell or distribute your personal information to third-party organizations for marketing or any other purposes.
MOBILE DEVICE USAGE
Mobile devices are permitted at Art Camp. Students may use their devices from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM before the art projects begin, and again from 3:00 PM until pick-up time. They can use their devices to play games or look up art references; however, texting, browsing the internet, and watching YouTube videos are not allowed during camp hours. If these rules are not followed, students may be required to leave their devices at home or have their devices taken away during camp. In such cases, the devices will be returned to their parents at pick-up.
Respect for Fellow Participants:
– Please be mindful of your fellow participants and maintain a respectful environment by limiting the use of mobile devices.
– Keep your phone on silent mode or vibrate to minimize disruptions.
Safety First:
– Safety is our top priority. Avoid any mobile device use that may compromise your safety or the safety of others during physical activities.
Privacy Consideration:
– Protect the privacy of fellow participants by refraining from taking photos, videos, or recordings without their explicit consent.
– Do not share or post images or videos of other participants on social media or public platforms without their consent.
Creating My Art Discretion:
– Creating My Art has the discretion to limit or restrict mobile device usage within their specific areas or during particular activities.
– Please adhere to any additional rules or guidelines set by Creating My Art regarding mobile device usage.
Emergency Situations:
– In case of an emergency, participants are allowed to use their mobile devices to call for assistance or communicate urgent information.
Compliance:
– Failure to comply with this Mobile Device Usage Policy may result in a participant being asked to leave the activity or the center premises.
