Acrylic Painting (Teen/ Adult)
Students will be painting on canvas using acrylic paint. All materials, instruction and canvas are included in this class. No experience needed, beginners welcome. Our Art instructor teaches step by step with one on one assistance.
Students will be painting a portrait of their pet on canvas using Acrylic Paint. Once you have booked the class you will receive an email to send a clear photo of your pet to Ms. Tamara. Your “Pet Photo” that you emailed to Ms. Tamara will be enlarged onto your canvas. You will learn step by step how to paint your pet. All materials, instruction and watercolor paper and paint are included.
The foundation for art is drawing. This workshop is designed for new students with a structured approach to drawing. Students will be working with charcoal. An excellent medium to learn how to draw, understanding shape & form and the perfect gateway to mastering chalk pastels & pencil.
Students will learn how to draw what you see, how to add value & tone, add highlights & shadow, manipulate drawing strokes to add volume and texture.
How to add perspective with foreground, middle ground and foreground.

Once you have taken Drawing Fundamentals the next step is to master drawing. This workshop is designed for intermediate & advanced students with a structured approach to drawing.
Students will focus on composition, light source to develop highlights and shadow, working with positive & negative space to create interesting compositions.
